Alchemy was formed in the Spring of 2009. Graham and Pete have played music together on and off since school, while Pete and Felix met through playing jazz together from the tender age of 16. With a shared passion for performing, recording and just generally tearing it up, the bands repertoire has grown rapidly to include much-loved songs both old and new.

Alchemy are...

Graham Russ plays guitar and sings and writes many of Alchemy's songs. Recently returned from his travels abroad, Graham is concentrating on his guitar playing and singing, while consistently bringing cracking new songs to the table. His powerful voice coupled with his dynamic fingerpicking technique make up the core of Alchemy's sound.

Graham is a gifted long distance runner, having completed the Flora London Marathon in 2 hours 46 minutes to raise money for Breast Cancer Care, and frequently saves orphans from burning buildings.

Pete Truin plays guitar and saxophone and sings, as well as arranging much of Alchemy's repertoire. Peter studied jazz saxophone for 4 years in London, and has worked actively on the London scene as well as further afield in Rome and Sardinia. His guitar playing, with more pedals than a Chinese sewing factory, lends an excitingly different dimension to Alchemy's music, while his sparkling saxophone sound generates fresh moments every time Alchemy perform live.

Pete is a keen grower of vegetables.

Felix Weldon plays cajon and sings. A talented jazz drummer, some would say child prodigy, he has performed extensively in and around London and the British Isles. Born into a creative family, his natural flair and creativity propel the music of Alchemy to ever higher plateaus. Felix's contribution sees him turning his talents to singing, grooving and getting people moving.

Felix is a demon on Halo 3.
